Stylish Floral Blazers
Floral blazers are a delicately chic addition to any closet. Hitting the clubs? They’ll keep you stylish. About to step up to a podium for a presentation? They’ll hike up your business casual style.
Here I’ve opted for casual by pairing my floral blazer with black tights, a semi-slouchy bag and fun booties. This silky blazer from Target is a form-fitting steal at only $22.99, while Nylon Tricot High-Waist Leggings from American Apparel offer a soft shine and are thick enough that I don’t feel naked wearing them by themselves … a very important quality in tights!
I completed the look with a multicolored freshwater pearl necklace to offset the blazer and added a hammered ring and arm candy mash-up from Styles for Less, which has all of their accessories for buy one, get the second 50% off. I finished it off with platform booties and a boxy retro satchel, which is unfortunately no longer available but I linked a similar one to the right.
This isn’t the only floral blazer style, of course. Here are 4 more options to consider when adding this look to your wardrobe:
1. Fantasy Floral Blazer Bright and beautiful, this blazer from Ann Taylor doesn’t get overlooked. Classic blazer qualities include a single button and front flap besom pockets. Don’t forget the pick-stitched shawl collar, perfect for work.
2. ASOS Mono Floral Blazer ASOS offers a gorgeous option for dates and meetings alike in this shruggy blazer. Its floral print is restricted to neutrals, while the open front bespeaks comfort. Slightly padded shoulders are on trend, as are sleeves that hit just above the wrist.
3. Lillion Floral Print Tailored Blazer Lovers of lapels, beware: you may have just met your match in this long and playful blazer. With a fierce navy blue and white color combination, this Missguided blazer also has matching trousers. The best part is the black trim around sleeves, hem and collar, which makes it perfect for dressing up or down.
4. Floral Print Blazer Our list wouldn’t be complete without something from Forever 21’s casual but trendy repertoire. A sweet contrast of blue florals against a dark background blend into a charming print, while the loose drape screams winter beach weekend. Unlined and lightweight, you could wear it with shorts or a dress, and add a heavier jacket for a layered effect.
I think we can agree you no longer have any excuse not to try out some floral blazers this Spring, right?
With tender hugs and kisses,
